Boat handling days or weekends are great for those who just want more practice in this aspect of boating or for those that want to brush up on rusty or forgotten skill. Perhaps you are about to
bareboat charter a yacht
and just feel a day or two with an instructor might be a good investment and will help you to preserve the security deposit on the boat you charter!
Emphasis on these days/weekends is on close quarters manoeuvring: Boat handling under power in confined spaces, in marinas, getting in and out of tight berths, turning in a tight spot, parking when only one or two of you are on board, that sort of things. There is also boat handling under sail to practice as well: sailing on and off buoys, man over board practice under sail etc.
If there is something specific you want to practice then I am sure we can accommodate.
If you want a day’s practice on the boat you intend to charter then we can arrange that.
Boat Handling weekends / days are great for improving skills and confidence.
